Job summary

Openkyber in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Sr Project Manager with PMP to lead and oversee the most complex IT projects, ensuring delivery of IT products and services. Qualifications

Job Role: Sr Project Manager with PMP

Location: Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Roles & Responsibilities

Has full responsibility to manage and oversee all aspects of the most complex IT projects to deliver an IT product, service or system. Coordinate and integrate project activities. Manage, lead or administer project resources. Monitor project activities and resources to mitigate risk. Implement or maintain quality assurance processes. Make improvements, solve problems or take corrective action when problems arise. Give presentations or briefings on all aspects of the project. Participate in phase, milestone and final project reviews. Identify project documentation requirements or procedures. Develop and implement project schedules and release plans. Design or conduct analytical studies, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses or other research. Evaluate, monitor or ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, standards or procedures. Identify standards or requirements for change management. Participate in change control, including reviewing change requests. Implement information systems security plans and procedures. Ensure appropriate product-related training and documentation are developed and made available to customers.

Required Skills

Experience in customer service, decision making, flexibility, interpersonal skills, leadership, organizational awareness, problem solving, reasoning, team building, oral communication, speaking and writing. Experience in business process reengineering, capital planning and investment assessment, contracting/procurement, cost-benefit analysis, financial management, planning and evaluating, project management, quality assurance, requirements analysis and risk management. Knowledge and experience in configuration, data, and information management, information resources strategy and planning, information technology architecture, information technology performance assessment, infrastructure design, systems integration, systems life cycle, and technology awareness. Strong business process analysis and requirements development skills. Proficiency with project and work management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet. Ability to use Power BI for project metrics, dashboards, and reporting. Familiarity with contracts management systems, claims processing, or case management systems. Technical familiarity with SQL, cloud systems, or enterprise integration platforms. Minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects. Hands on experience implementing COTS/SaaS solutions (workflow management, case management, ERP, or similar platforms). Strong Experience in managing system integration and data exchange projects (APIs, interface engines, secure file transfers, HL7/FHIR/X12). Hands‑on experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
