Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage cross‑functional project teams for products produced or distributed from Columbus, covering launches, transfers and lifecycle activities.
  • Provide all necessary project‑management skills and tools to ensure timely completion of assigned projects, meeting key performance indicators for timing, cost and process robustness.
  • Own the planning and execution of Generic commercialization, Site Transfers, Buy‑ins, Third‑Party, Alternate API, process changes and changes to Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Excipient, Packaging and Raw Material items.
  • Proactively identify and manage risk that could adversely affect project completion.
  • Lead facilitation of multiple cross‑functional teams and manage resources to ensure progress and change integration.
  • Contribute to “Go/No Go” project decisions and communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding risks, contingency plans and potential impacts.
  • Drive change‑management requirements, managing change meetings, protocols, documentation and system updates.
  • Conduct lessons‑learned reviews to improve future project performance and optimize resource allocation.
  • Mentor and develop other team members, sharing best practices and leading knowledge‑sharing sessions.
Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in a scientific or related operations discipline plus a minimum of 9 years’ experience in pharmaceutical (change management, analytical and/or drug regulatory affairs preferred) and/or project management.
  • Or M.S. degree with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in pharmaceutical and/or project management.
  • Minimum 9 years of industrial multidisciplinary experience managing multiple, complex projects and/or implementing continuous improvement.
  • Expert knowledge of regulations pertaining to the development and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals including cGMP, DEA, FDA and EMEA.
  • Knowledge of SOPs, production processes, equipment and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply‑chain operations and technology.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical development, scale‑up, validation and lifecycle processes.
  • Expert knowledge of project‑management methodology and an active PMP certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on results and meet business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and an active Six‑Sigma certification preferred.
