Job summary

BGE, Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager for an onsite role in West Palm Beach, FL. You will lead a team in developing plans for residential and commercial projects, manage client relations, and supervise engineers and CAD staff.

Required qualifications include a PE in Florida, 10+ years in civil engineering, and strong technical skills in Civil 3D/AutoCAD. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE License in the State of Florida.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience, residential master-planned development.
• 6+ years as a Project Manager with technical guidance.
• Assistant Project Manager level with daily task lead duties.
• Solid working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-HMS, StormCAD or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for projects and leading a team in plans, specs for multi-family, residential, master-planned and commercial sites.
• Serve as primary contact for clients.
• Oversee project management reporting and client invoicing.
• May supervise engineers or CAD Technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is an onsite role for our West Palm Beach office.

Job Description

• Serve as point of contact for clients.
• Responsible for project management reporting and client invoicing.
• May supervise work of one or more Engineers or CAD Technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE License in the State of Florida.
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering ideally residential master-planned community development that includes paving, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, etc.
• 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager with the ability to provide technical guidance to Engineers and CAD Designers.
• Assistant Project Manager level who has been taking on daily task lead duties.
• Solid working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, or other modeling software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills..
