Location: Indianapolis, United States

In this position, you will collaborate with senior management, stakeholders and the overall project team to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership, while fostering mentorship, respect and trust.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management toward successful conclusion.
• Manage large enterprise‑type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
• Define users and project team members’ roles and responsibilities.
• Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to intermediate‑level project managers, including recommending training and experience.
• Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables.
• Lead end‑to‑end migration of the on‑premises Oracle Data Warehouse to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Project Management and IT digital transformation.
• Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects.
• Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools, and approaches to development and implementation.
• Experience with multiple methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
• Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of the SDLC to program/business/stakeholders who may have little to no exposure to large software projects.
• Strong knowledge in modernizing Oracle, PL/SQL, data warehouses using BigQuery, Dataflow, and DataStream.
• Ability to work with technical team members and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans, risk registers, and overcome obstacles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in complex IT project or portfolio coordination involving multiple stakeholders across multiple business areas and geographies – 10 years.
• Experience with Cloud migration, Google, Data Warehouse, Migration – Required.
• Ability to support senior project team staff to drive projects to success – 10 years.
• Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills – Required.
• Experience in organizing highly complex and technical information – 10 years.
• Knowledge of multiple methodologies including Agile and Waterfall – Required.
• Experience managing projects within Azure DevOps – Highly desired.
• PMP Certified – Desired.
• Led end‑to‑end migration of an on‑premise to cloud data warehouse migrations – Desired.
