The Sr. Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams through successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of complex manufacturing projects. The role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of establishing processes, building relationships, and managing ambiguity while maintaining focus on project delivery and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from concept through completion, ensuring deliverables are met according to scope, timeline, and budget.
- Develop and manage project scoping, plan development, lead stage-gate reviews, and ensure the timely progression of projects through each phase.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, supply chain, procurement, engineering, operations, and finance to ensure project alignment and collaboration.
- Drive the implementation of standardized project management processes and tools (such as Smartsheet and Microsoft Teams) to improve efficiency and reduce ambiguity. Support the development of a project prioritization framework to ensure that high-impact projects are given appropriate focus and resources.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Develop contingency plans to address potential project hurdles.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure efficient allocation of people and materials, reducing bottlenecks and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Drive and implement process improvements, ensuring lessons learned are captured and applied to future projects.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to track progress against project goals and report regularly to senior leadership. Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, risks, and resource needs to all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing large, cross-functional manufacturing projects. Experience with stage-gate and project charter development required.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including new product development and supply chain optimization.
- Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing ambiguity and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in project management tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft Project) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to senior leadership.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
