Job summary

Central Environmental, Inc. (CEI) seeks a Senior Project Coordinator in Lewiston, ID to support project management, procurement, and billing across environmental construction projects.

The role requires strong administrative expertise, MS 365 proficiency, cost control, and coordination with HR, finance, IT, safety, and subcontractors. Some travel and a pre-employment drug screen are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel across the US.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • 15+ years in construction industry as administrator/coordinator.
  • Experience with HCSS and CostPoint.
  • Certified Payroll; tracking and reporting.
  • Experience with client engagement for public sector projects.
  • Familiarity with Federal Government FAR protocols.

  • Work with Project Management on setup and launch.
  • Execute Purchase Orders.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, clients, government entities, BSNC sister companies.
  • Complete credit card statements.
  • Assist with transferring personnel between projects.
  • Schedule housing and travel for projects.
  • Code and approve invoices.
  • Manage project billing.
  • Create project accounting coding and tracking.
  • Assist with BSNC's monthly EAC process.

Since its founding in 1984, CEI has expanded into a full-service construction and environmental remediation provider with operations in Anchorage (AK), Colorado Springs (CO), Fairbanks (AK), and Las Vegas (NV), and projects spanning the U.S. and globally. We specialize in general contracting, civil site work, underground utilities installation, environmental and demolition services.



About this position: Sr. Project Coordinator in Lewiston, ID

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Confidentially process employee personal information

  • Coordinate with Human Resources, Finance, IT, Safety, on an as needed basis

  • Work directly with Project Management and assist with project set-up and launch

  • Execute Purchase Orders

  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, clients, government entities, and BSNC sister companies

  • Complete credit card statements

  • Assist with transferring personnel from project to project

  • Schedule housing and travel for project to project

  • Code and approve invoices

  • Manage project billing

  • Create project accounting coding and track, organize, report on project accounting

  • Assist with BSNC's monthly EAC process



Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications


  • High School Diploma

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Pass Drug Test

  • (15) Years of construction industry experience as a administrator or coordinator

  • Experience with HCSS and CostPoint

  • Certified Payroll; tracking, reporting, submittal

  • Experience with client engagement, with an emphasis on local, state, and federal construction clients

  • Experience with Federal Government FAR protocol

  • Ability to travel throughout the US (including Alaska)

  • Administrative and office management practices (i.e., scheduling, record keeping, and documentation)

  • Organizational policies and compliance (i.e., material procurement, data privacy, reporting standards)

  • Microsoft 365 Software Experience: Excel, WORD, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams

  • Communication Skills: clear written and verbal communication with multiple groups and across multiple teams

Necessary Physical Requirements


  • Ability to function in an office environment, including but not limited to:

    • Standing or sitting for extended periods

    • High usage of computers and all associated devices and attachments.

    • Work more than (40) hours per week or unorthodox hours due to project activities.

    • Ability to travel to remote construction locations and traverse uneven surfaces in a remote construction environment





Work Environment

  • Standard business hours, with additional time required during construction season or project activities.

  • May have short term exposure to industrial constructions activities, remote construction environment.



Supervisory Responsibilities


  • This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.



DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements


  • This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation \"safety-sensitive\" functions.



Additional Qualifying Factors

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
