Job Description:

MedTech Surgery, Inc, a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies, is recruiting a Senior Program Manager, Network MTST role.

MedTech Surgery is conducting a transformation program called Hit Next. This role will be part of the Wound Closure Healing (WCH) Supply Chain Network team supporting and coordinating supply chain and network aspects of this transformation program, and leading specific initiatives and projects within the overall transformation program. Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Program Manager will own and lead strategic programs and projects within WCH Supply Chain with a multi-site impact. Projects and programs that will fall within Network Optimization efforts to enable capacity implementation and growth at multiple sites and drive business transformation. Also, will drive development and execution of the determined transformation programs. And partner with Marketing, R&D, Quality and Supply Chain teams to develop strategies to achieve business objectives and provide governance through effective prioritization and allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals.

Tactical responsibilities include:
  • Leading or supporting project case development, CAPEX approval and management, project plans design and execution, and establishing effective governance processes to ensure strategy advancement.
  • Managing cross-functional multi-site teams, with focus on project execution to deliver established goals and objectives for the assigned projects.
  • Driving identification of project ideas, team composition, execution plans and manufacturing handoff as the need arises to ensure smooth execution and implementation.
  • Provide global operations leadership to assigned network and transformation projects
  • Develop operations strategy, assemble team and development/execution of operations project plan through hand-off to the manufacturing sites
  • Build strong cross-functional teams, with mentoring and coaching of team members
  • Follow defined processes & procedures related to product transfers and product, process, and equipment implementation to ensure compliance and meet business goals.
  • Supervise and track progress of project deliverables and establish measures for strong program management practices.
  • Presenting business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other tasks assigned as needed
Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent degree required; focused degree in Engineering, Science or related area of study preferred. Advanced degree such as an MS or MBA preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant professional work experience
  • Organizational change, project management, the ability to work effectively and drive alignment in a global environment through strong communication and empowerment
  • Experience in a business or technical role within the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to adopt financial goals and use customer-centric decision making.
  • Ability to lead teams effectively and drive collaboration in a global setting.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Project Management Mastery
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in building business strategies and driving strategy implementation.
  • Proven ability to handle data with respect to project management of financial management

Preferred:

  • Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and/or Biologics experience
  • People management experience
  • Six Sigma/Process Excellence and/or Project Management/PMP/FPX certification
  • Financial analytical experience

Other:

  • This position may require up to 25% of domestic and/or international travel.
  • Reports to WCH Director of Network and Strategy
