Amazon Leo Global Service Compliance (GSC) is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to guide Network and Security compliance workstreams across international deployments.
You will lead planning, execution, and optimization, collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure compliance solutions. You will report status to leadership and interface with cross-functional partners to unblock deliverables.
We are seeking a stellar program manager with operational experience and expertise in Network and Security communications service compliance, specifically across Network Outage Reporting, IP/DNS Blocking, Traffic Routing, and Security Reporting within internet service provider and telecom environments. This role sits within the Global Service Compliance team supporting Amazon Leo, an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low‑latency, high‑speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Amazon Leo Global Service Compliance (GSC) is seeking a dynamic, organized, and experienced Program Manager to guide and inform specific communications service compliance obligation workstreams. You are responsible for managing complex compliance programs, from planning through to execution, continuously surveilling the Amazon Leo business strategy and regulatory environment to plan and respond to change across one or more domains. This role focuses on Network and Security compliance and may expand to include things like enterprise deals across multiple countries and service offerings.
You collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver world‑class compliance solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible while maintaining a strong organizational focus. You work with stakeholders and multiple business teams to identify, define, and iterate solutions for assigned compliance domains. You are a deep subject‑matter expert in your assigned compliance workstreams and will be the face of the workstream to external stakeholders. You create dynamic plans and monitor performance and evolution of the workstream as the Amazon Leo business expands and changes, reporting successes, risks, and program status internally (within GSC) and externally (across Amazon Leo) as appropriate. You tailor your communications to specific audiences, communicating clearly and concisely to business, technical, business partner, and leadership audiences.
As a GSC PM, you oversee the compliance program approach, implementation, and optimization for Outage Reporting, IP/DNS Blocking, Traffic Routing and Security Reporting workstreams, while championing program management best practices across the GSC organization.
About the team Leo Global Service Compliance (GSC) manages the implementation and execution of compliance obligations that exist because Leo operates as a communications service provider. These compliance obligations are derived from various sources including license conditions, licence commitments, and statutory obligations that may be borne out of regulation, orders, and extrajudicial actions and cover a wide variety of subject‑matter areas including (but not limited to) consumer protection, privacy, network sovereignty and security, law enforcement requests, regulatory fees, network performance and availability, and marketing/advertising.
This position may be based in Bellevue, WA, or Arlington, VA, Earth. Some travel, domestic and international, may be required. No intergalactic travel is yet required.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
