Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an organized, dynamic Facilities Management expert to lead the expansion of Integrated Facility Management (IFM) strategies in North America, with focus on the US and Canada and potential expansion to Mexico and other Americas.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Finance and local maintenance teams to optimize cost, quality and performance of hard and soft services, develop KPIs and dashboards, and support data-driven budget decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams.
• 5+ years of team management experience.
• 5+ years of cross-functional project delivery experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leads the expansion of the Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Strategy in NA.
• Technical lead collaborating with procurement to execute contracts and manage vendor relationships at a corporate level.
• Point of contact with other global Subject Matter Experts established in NA and supports the adoption of global strategies modifying them as needed to meet local regulations/restrictions.
• Engage with business owners and leadership to support the deployment/adoption of the IFM strategies/initiatives to improve cost, quality and performance.
• Collaborates with vendors to develop performance KPIs, tools and dashboards to consolidate the teams reporting of metrics (savings, escalations, compliance, risk) to the business and leadership.
• Analyses spend from services on multiple business units across the NA region to support data driven decisions.
• Partners with Finance, Field teams and Procurement to improve our data management, categorization and budgeting.
• Support the definition of the gap analysis of internal and external stakeholders and the required training program needed to succeed the delivery of a successful FM strategy.
• Represent the team in the multiple Business Reviews with internal and external stakeholders to centralize points of contact.
• Traveling domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.

As a Facilities Management expert, this individual will collaborate with multiple stakeholders (Procurement, Operations, Finance, and local Maintenance teams), to develop strategies to optimize the cost, quality and performance of the hard-soft services (i.e. Base building, Snow removal, etc.)

About The Team

Building Excellence Management (BXM), is Amazon's global centralized unit for Base Building asset management within RME. It operates through three pillars: Global Facilities Management (GFM), Global Standards & Compliance (GSC), and Fire Life Safety (FLS). Strategically, BXM is deploying a global foundation ensuring proper asset management, PM protocols, vendor performance control, EOL implementation, cost optimization, and safety improvements.

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
