Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Program Manager responsible for planning and overseeing one or more programs to achieve quality, cost, schedule, technical, and contractual objectives.
The Sr. Program Manager leads program execution, manages resources and risks, monitors performance, and provides customer and leadership updates throughout the program lifecycle.
The Sr. Program Manager will lead the development, production, delivery, and sustainment of RF components, subsystems, and systems supporting mission-critical customers.
This position will lead military SATCOM programs supporting the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) and Global Broadcast Service (GBS) missions and will work closely with the Department of War, U.S. Space Force, and other government customers.
The ideal candidate is a technically capable program leader who can translate customer requirements into clear directions, drive cross-functional execution, and build strong customer relationships.
Essential Functions:

- Support and/or lead capture, bid, and proposal activities.
- Manage and direct the daily execution of multiple programs or large-scale programs within contract requirements to ensure that cost, schedule, and performance goals are met.
- Lead all meetings and the Integrated Product Team from proposal kickoff through program close.
- Provide interface, communication, and coordination with internal and external customers on matters pertaining to existing contracts and bid and proposal activities.
- Serve as a primary customer interface with Department of War, U.S. Space Force, other government organizations, prime contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Represent management at program reviews, meetings, seminars, and other program-related events.
- Develop and implement plans and schedules to execute contracts/subcontracts.
- Allocate and control contract budgets for labor, material, travel, and purchased services.
- Report program status to senior management.
- Formally identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risk throughout the program lifecycle.
- Perform variance analysis of schedule and cost on a formal and informal basis and present them to senior management.
- Assure that contractual requirements are executed in accordance with applicable regulatory and Company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage changing priorities and aggressive timelines.
- Lead company program reviews due to knowledge and experience.

Experience and Skills

- Active U.S. Secret security clearance required
10-15 years of program management or related experience. - Experience managing programs with responsibility for cost, schedule, risk, and contractual deliverables.
- Experience managing firm fixed-price and cost-type contracts.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and Integrated Product Teams.
- Experience working with commercial and government customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing Department of War programs or programs of record, preferably supporting the U.S. Space Force.
- Experience with military SATCOM, preferably WGS and GBS, or related communications systems.
Working knowledge of GEO satellite communications, ground terminals, RF systems, or related technologies. - Experience with system sustainment, configuration management, field support, obsolescence management, or technology refresh.
PMP certification.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required
