Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Senior Program Management experience in the IC community.

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Cyber related field; PMP preferred; strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with CPAF, FFP and LOE contracts; Government acquisition experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the contract and serve as Government point of contact.
  • Provide technical supervision and guidance for personnel assigned to the contract.
  • Develop efficiency improvements and best practices for the program office.
  • Oversee contract deliverables, performance, and reporting.
  • Manage contract financials and on-contract growth targets; monitor risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate subcontract management, invoicing, and change proposals.
  • Collaborate with systems, security, and support teams; travel as needed.

Your impact

Knack Works is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Senior Program Manager to support one of our contracts in the Chantilly, VA office. The role is ideal for someone with 10+ years’ experience managing large 65+ FTE with multiple subcontractors.

Founded in 2015, Knack Works, based out of Northern Virginia, was formed to address the demand for cutting-edge development environments within the intelligence community. Knack Works is focused on providing scalable, automated solutions that enable our customers to perform their national security missions in an ever-changing environment of new technologies and evolving threats. Our flagship product, the "Knack Stack," introduces flexible and automated hybrid cloud infrastructure as a service for cloud-agnostic deployments and automation. It's designed to automate data management and security. Today, we operate independently as Knack Works, a subsidiary of Jacobs. Duties/Task And Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the contract
  • Serve as the Government’s point of contact
  • Provide technical supervision and guidance for all personnel assigned to the contract
  • Help develop efficiency improvements and best business practices to the program office
  • Oversee all contractual responsibilities and delivery of all contract deliverables
  • Ensure an efficient, effective, and economical level of contract support is provided to the program office
  • Develop and manage risk and opportunities
  • Develop and manage on-contract growth targets
  • Develop and manage program master schedule
  • Provide oversight of staff and support activities
  • Manage contract financials
  • Maximize award fee or incentive based fee score
  • Manage overall contract performance to include providing subcontract management, monitoring, invoicing, coordinating contract change proposals; and understanding the needs and customer expectations to ensure customer satisfaction. Some local travel can be expected
  • Manage all internal contract reporting
  • Support the development of system documentation
  • Collaborate with systems, security, and support teams as needed
Here’s what you’ll need
  • 10+ years’ experience as a Senior Program Management experience within the IC Community
  • Demonstrated experience managing programs with greater than 65 FTEs with multiple subcontractors
  • Current active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (FSP preferred) or willingness to obtain an FSP
  • Managed CPAF, FFP and LOE contracts
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Cyber related field
  • Strong management, leadership, written, and oral communications skills
  • Experience in Government acquisition
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and Government contract and subcontract management
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)
  • Must work on-site in Northern Virginia
  • Good communication and collaborations skills with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience with LAN/WAN operations and protocols
  • Experience working in development and operational environments

The base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
