Job summary

Logicalis is seeking a senior network consultant to lead end-to-end infrastructure implementations. You will design, document, and guide complex Cisco and Palo Alto solutions for client environments, ensuring successful delivery and rigorous knowledge transfer to client teams.

You will collaborate with RMO/PMO, perform assessments and capacity planning, and travel nationally to engage with clients, maintaining high satisfaction and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10 years of Cisco and Palo Alto technical experience including design, implementation, and support.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), ASA/FirePower, and Palo Alto devices.
• Proficient with MS Office and Visio.

Summary Provides comprehensive professional services delivery as related to infrastructure consulting, design, implementation, configuration and knowledge transfer to Logicalis clients. Acts as technical lead and provides subject matter expertise and implementation guidance to clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs implementations of overall solutions for clients, including development of solution designs, implementation plans and documentation.
• Develops Logicalis standards for scoping, documentation, and implementations.
• Provides, as subject matter expert, guidance, assistance and recommendations to determine new technical services and solutions for client's business.
• Leads project teams to deliver successful implementations.
• Performs expert integration and customized consulting services.
• Satisfies client technology services and solution requirements using best practices to:

• Works directly with client to gather requirements, design solutions, build proof of concepts and implementations solutions.

• Works with Logicalis' clients to perform assessments, health checks, performance tests, and capacity planning.
• Responsible for product evaluation, process improvement, and practice refinement activities.
• Establishes relationships with clients by demonstrating strong listening skills.
• Builds credibility and trust by delivering what has been promised within established timeframes.
• Maintains focus on client satisfaction and expectation management
• Mentors and trains team members on working in collaborative environment.

Experience / Technical Requirements

• 10 years of Cisco and Palo Alto technical experience, including design, implementation, and support of Cisco and Palo Alto network and security solutions, in the following:
• Cisco edge switching products
• Cisco distribution switching products
• Cisco core switching including the Cisco Nexus product line
• Cisco routers and routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
• Cisco security devices implementation and administration (ASA and FirePower)
• Palo Alto devices implementation and administration. (NGFW, Panorama and Strata)
• Security engineering and support (Firewalls, FirePower, VPNs, Packet Capture, etc.)
• Identity controls (Cisco ISE)
• Two factor authentication
• Thorough knowledge of VLAN's, Spanning tree, VPC's, VDC's, and OTV
• Thorough knowledge of IPV4 and IPV6
• Consulting background focused on Cisco solutions.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications, including Visio.

Certifications

One or more of following:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Cisco Certified internetwork Expert - Route/Switch (CCIE R/S)
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
