Job summary

RTX's Diné Facility in Farmington, NM seeks a Sr. Production Test Engineer with strong data analysis and RCCA skills to drive test strategies and ensure production readiness.

You will validate test equipment, analyze yields, and troubleshoot issues, while supporting training for production test personnel and meeting shift coverage needs. This onsite role offers the chance to contribute to a critical aerospace program and join a team focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, product and/or test environment.
  • Experience with data analysis or RCCA.

Responsibilities

  • Validate new or modified test equipment for production use and ensure test requirements are met.
  • Monitor and improve test processes using predictive metrics and RCCA data.
  • Perform preliminary investigations for problem resolution.
  • Participate in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair.
  • Provide technical training to production test specialists and metrology staff.
  • Available to cover additional shifts including some weekend work.

As a Sr. Production Test Engineer you’ll influence test strategies, architectures, systems and transition to production through data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action methodologies. You’ll also validate and ensure compliance of the prime hardware to technical data package requirements and supporting test equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Validatingnew or modified test equipment for production use, ensuring accuracy of work instructions and that test equipment and software meet product-specific test requirements
  • Monitoring and improving test processes through analysis of predictive metrics, failure mode and test yields
  • Performing preliminary investigations for problem resolution
  • Participatingin non-routine fault isolation, diagnosisand repair of the product or test equipment
  • Providing technical training to production test specialists and metrology personnel
  • Availability to cover additional shifts including some weekend work

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience inmanufacturing, product and/or test environment
  • Experience with dataanalysisor Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experiencewith advanced electronics/electrical engineering, basic mechanical engineering orbasic computer programming
  • Experience with hands-on hardware integration andtroubleshooting
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
