Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Sr. Production Engineer to join their team in California. This role involves designing various aerospace systems and supporting the development of the New Glenn launch vehicle. The successful candidate will apply engineering techniques and has a strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering. Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in production support engineering and be proficient in 3D CAD tools such as Creo and ANSYS. The role requires a U.S. citizenship or legal residency.

Passion for our mission and vision is required!**Responsibilities:*** Applies engineering techniques to design, install, modify, analyze, repair structural and mechanical systems hardware.* Role will have a strong emphasis on supporting integration activities.* Experience in 3D CAD programs (Creo preferred)* Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to analyze pressurized systems and primary/secondary structures (ANSYS preferred)* Specifically identifying available work and resolving roadblocks to facilitate integration tasks.* Release and support of engineering artifacts across the product life cycle to support hardware fabrication, assembly, verification, test and operations.
