Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks a Senior Product Manager - Technical to define new features and solutions for S3 customers. You will own requirements, collaborate with engineers, and guide go-to-market strategies while presenting plans to executives and customers.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape product vision and roadmaps, and drive beta programs, partner with product marketing, and align with leadership on the strategy for S3.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience.
  • 5+ years of Technical Product Manager experience.
  • 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience.
  • Experience taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market.
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market).

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical to define new features, feature enhancements, and other solutions for S3’s customers. You’ll thrive in this role if: You love technology, are able to understand complex systems, and work with technical teams. You are inspired by the idea of building new solutions for customers – inventing on their behalf. And, finally, with your strong ownership bias, you have a persistent desire to improve how things are done.

Candidates must be comfortable facilitating executive-level reviews, diving deep into data, and expressing ideas through writing.

In This Position, You’ll Do These Things

Utility Computing (UC)

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
  • 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
  • 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
  • Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
  • Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
