Join the Amazon Global Payments Tech Product team! We are revolutionizing payments for customers across the world, processing billions of dollars in purchases in over 150 countries. We are looking for a talented individual to join us as Senior Product Manager (Technical), and connect with customers to help own and drive strategy for a flagship product. In this role, you will work with both internal business lines as well as external customers, define the long‑term strategy, build out the product roadmap, define product features and work closely with the development teams to incorporate launch new products. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of technical and business teams to accelerate Amazon’s growth. It doesn’t get bigger than this.

  • You have persistence and grit, never hesitate to challenge the status quo with data and metrics.

It is a great opportunity for a seasoned product manager to lead several highly visible cross‑org initiatives as we strive towards our vision. This role requires an individual who can balance feedback from both internal clients and key stakeholders to create the best experience for both. Your responsibilities will include, defining product features, and working closely with development teams to incorporate those features into the product.

Key job responsibilities
  • Managing the lifecycle of technology products and features (customer experience, vision, strategy).
  • Influencing technical priorities and business strategy through data‑driven contributions, working directly with engineering managers and principal engineers.
  • Identifying new opportunities and potential customers that align with product and strategic growth of the company.
  • Driving product discussions, commissioning market research, usability studies and focus groups.
  • Developing product plans with clear measurable success criteria, using mechanisms and metrics (KPIs, funnels, conversion, awareness).
  • Evangelism, brand‑marketing of the product.
  • Leading cross‑functional teams and communicating to a large number of stakeholders. Communicating clearly and effectively to all levels of the company, both in writing and in meetings.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and trade‑offs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
