Job summary

Target is seeking a Risk Governance & Activation Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of risk intelligence products that help identify, prioritize, and respond to enterprise risks. You will build a comprehensive product roadmap, define OKRs, and partner with engineers, data scientists and business leaders to turn risk signals into actionable insights.

This hybrid role based at Target HQ in Minnesota requires 6+ years of product management experience and a strong background

Pay range

The pay range is $115,000.00 - $206,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. Risk Governance & Activation Senior Product Manager

As the Risk Governance & Activation Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of products that help Target identify, prioritize, and respond to its most significant strategic, financial, operational, and compliance risks. You will create intelligent, data-driven experiences that enable leaders across the enterprise to understand emerging risks, make informed decisions, and drive coordinated action. Partnering closely with Enterprise Risk Management, technology, analytics, and business leaders, you will define and deliver capabilities that strengthen Target's enterprise risk framework and decision‑making processes. Your work will leverage internal and external intelligence sources, advanced analytics, and AI-powered solutions to transform complex risk signals into actionable insights.

Through your leadership, you will help build the next generation of risk intelligence products that enhance organizational resilience, improve risk visibility, and enable proactive management of the issues that matter most to Target's business and stakeholders. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will partner to develop a comprehensive product strategy, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to leverage the knowledge of your product, as well as customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product.

You will lead a product and work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product. You will be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.

You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization’s direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles, and partner with product teams across the organization to help them achieve their goals while pursuing and completing yours.

About you
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of product management experience
  • Product domain experience in risk management
  • Experience with risk governance, intelligence, or reputation management
  • Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams
  • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)
  • Ability to lead a body of work with cross-functional partners
  • Strong communication skills

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
