Job summary

First American Trust is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead customer-focused product development across treasury and payments. You will align stakeholders, translate strategy into roadmaps, and drive features that create value for real estate banking clients.

You will collaborate with business and engineering teams to guide agile delivery, manage requirements, and measure feature success. This role emphasizes customer obsession and cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years directly related experience in product or service development.
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile product management.
  • Experience working with strategic partners.
  • Working knowledge of product/work management and collaboration tools, such as Atlassian products, Miro and Productboard.
  • Subject matter expertise in money-movement orchestration and integration with payment systems (checks, ACH, book transfers, wires, and real-time payments).

Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to cultivating a robust customer-obsessed, product-led design culture.
  • Facilitate and drive alignment among key stakeholders and lead them to converge on a shared view of product priorities.
  • Drive the vision and delivery of new product features to support business growth and strategic priorities.
  • Translate product strategy into roadmaps and detailed requirements.
  • Works closely with product delivery counterparts to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimize resources to deliver value to customers.
  • Prioritize product opportunities collaboratively with other product team members and engineering.
  • Define high-level customer requirements for the entire customer experience including product features and functions.
  • Works with users to understand and validate their needs.
  • Develop metrics to assess the success of new features and determine necessary enhancements.
  • Participate in planning meetings and provide advice and guidance on the direction of the product.
  • Collaborate with customers and team members to ensure a solid and well-rounded understanding of developing needs.
  • Continually assess the behaviors and needs of customers, emerging trends, and industry expectations.
  • Leverage insights to identify opportunities and define requirements for product differentiation and innovation, while ensuring compliance.
  • Drive the strategy and evolution of commercial payment products across ACH, wire, and instant payment rails; applying deep knowledge of payment capabilities, economics, risk, and operating models to solve commercial banking use cases, improve client workflows, and identify opportunities for differentiated payment solutions.
  • Understand technical issues well enough to make the right decisions about prioritizing not only new product features but also reducing technical debt or improving resiliency.
  • Support a comprehensive testing strategy, validating solutions through quality assurance and user acceptance testing feedback.

What We Do

First American Trust product teams create innovative banking solutions for the real estate industry. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual who is excited to work through ambiguity and deliver exceptional user experiences and lasting value to our customers. The Senior Product Manager will partner closely with business and technical teams to gather insights, understand current business processes, challenges, and opportunities, in order to help build and deliver advanced solutions. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product engineering, and platform engineering. You will participate in defining and communicating the strategic path for the platform components as well as the day-to-day decisions regarding product development and product releases. This includes using your knowledge of technology, processes, methodologies, and principles to lead product teams to successful outcomes. The ideal candidate must be customer-obsessed and have experience guiding Agile teams to build solutions from design to realization. They should be excellent at defining product objectives and outcomes, prioritizing features, managing timelines, gathering requirements, and communicating with stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Working knowledge of product/work management and collaboration tools, such as Atlassian products, Miro and Productboard.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $129,300.00 - $172,300.00 Annually

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
