Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks hardware engineers to validate and debug new silicon, and to develop ATE HW/SW test systems for high-volume manufacturing.

You will characterize device performance across process windows and collaborate across functions to create robust test methodologies for advanced packaging technologies. The role requires hands-on experience with ATE platforms, DFT, JTAG, memory BIST, and high-volume manufacturing exposure, with a strong emphasis on fast-paced problem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field is required.
• Master's degree in Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience with ATE test platforms, Advantest 93K SOC test systems, design for test (DFT) techniques and structural tests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer engineering and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Electronics Eng or related field
• Experience with ATE test platforms, Advantest 93K SOC test systems, design for test (DFT) techniques and structural tests such as Scan/ATPG, JTAG, and memory BIST, testing CPUs
• Experience with silicon bring-up and high-volume manufacturing
• Experience with testing Advanced package technologies
• C/C++, Perl, JMP
• Knowledge of VLSI design, semiconductor device physics along with computer processor systems, CMOS, Analog, and Mixed Signal circuits such as ADC, DAC, PLL, Codecs and their performance measurements
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and be passionate about delivering quality work

Educational Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or related field
• Preferred: Master’s degree in computer engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or related field

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits

$111,300.00 - $166,900.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
