Job summary

Viasat in Duluth, GA is seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to lead procurement activities and manage supplier performance across programs. You will collaborate with engineering, program management, planning, manufacturing and finance to deliver on time and within budget.

• Experience managing suppliers in a low-volume, high-mix environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• U.S. Citizenship required (government contract support).
• Ability to travel up to 10 percent.

The Supply Chain team is a global organization focused primarily on Procurement and Supplier Performance management. We span multiple sites in North America, Europe, and Asia, managing approximately $1B in spend for Viasat, and buy everything from common COTS electronic components to integrated satellite subsystems, and from paper to streaming sporting events. The day-to-day

What will help you on the job

• Experience supporting NPI through production (LRIP to full-rate manufacturing)
• Background in aerospace, defense, or highly engineered products
• Familiarity with FARS/DFARS regulations
• Experience with RMAs, supplier quality, and outsourcing/turnkey programs
• Knowledge of PLM systems and component-level sourcing

Salary range

$79,000.00 - $124,000.00 / annually.

For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $97,500.00- $146,500.00/ annually
