Role Summary

Sr. Principal Structural Analyst with experience in design and integration within the aerospace industry, based in Melbourne, FL. The position is fully onsite with no remote work available.

Essential Functions

• Proficiency in Finite Element Modeling (FEM/FEA) using tools such as NASTRAN or ANSYS.
• Strong knowledge of solid mechanics, fatigue, damage tolerance, and composite materials.
• Experience with classical structural analysis techniques, including free‑body diagrams, statics, mechanics of materials, and structural dynamics.
• Ability to attend or present at internal program, customer, and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and formal program milestone reviews for progress updates.
• Self‑starter capable of thriving in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment with minimal direction.
• Potentially filled as a Sr Principal Engineer (Level4) or Staff Engineer (Level5) based on qualifications.

Basic Qualifications

• For Level2: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of experience in design and integration of equipment; OR Master’s degree and 6 years of experience.
• Active In‑Scope DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Active In‑Scope DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Supplier Management Team (SMT) experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret (or higher) clearance with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with the design, analysis, and integration of environmental control systems.
• Software tools experience with NX and/or CPLM.
• Experience interpreting component detail drawings, specifications, installation drawings, and test procedures.
• Experience writing and reviewing technical documents such as SSOWs, SRDs, ICDs, and SDRL reviews.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex technical solutions within cost and schedule constraints across engineering lifecycle phases.

Salary & Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 – $184,200.00. The range is a general guideline that considers scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.

Eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company performance. Higher‑level positions may also be eligible for long‑term incentives.
