Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a lead software engineer to plan, integrate, and deliver modular simulation and modeling software from this Palmdale location. You will guide architecture decisions and promote best practices across the team.

You will coordinate with stakeholders to translate requirements into capabilities, and oversee verification and validation strategies to ensure mission-ready results. This is a high-impact, on-site role requiring a TS clearance and strong embedded systems

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and the full SDLC for embedded systems.
