Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Quality Engineer to lead sector-wide data analytics, transforming data into actionable insights for risk-based decisions. The Quality Engineer is responsible for leveraging data analytics to identify quality trends, emerging risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement across programs and functional organizations. This role serves as a strategic partner to Quality leadership by transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive risk‑based decision making and improve organizational performance. The successful candidate will collect, analyze, and interpret quality data from multiple enterprise systems to identify systemic issues, develop meaningful performance metrics, and recommend areas requiring increased Quality Engineering focus. This position requires strong analytical skills, curiosity, and the ability to communicate technical findings to both engineering and executive leadership. This position will be based full‑time on‑site in Linthicum, MD.

$123,400.00 - $185,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
