Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Senior Principal Chief Engineer – Level 4 in Promontory, UT, on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

The role leads Safety and Mission Assurance across programs, interfaces with customers and program leadership, and ensures cost, schedule and quality objectives are met while maintaining AS9100 compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience or higher degrees with corresponding experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Aerospace experience in rocket motor design, manufacturing, or quality.
• Strong knowledge of Quality and Safety policies, AS9100 compliance.
• Ability to prioritize competing/demanding priorities to satisfy S&MA requirements.
• Excellent communication across all organizational levels and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resources across S&MA are provided when and where needed to support program success.
• Lead efforts to develop, communicate and implement the S&MA vision, strategy, goals and metrics.
• Daily interface with program leadership, Engineering, Safety and Quality organizations.
• Regular customer interface to ensure all customer requirements are met.
• Other duties as assigned.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
