Job summary

FormFactor is seeking an experienced AI/ML software engineer to drive integration of AI tools into .NET and C++ applications on Windows. You will develop, train and optimize ML approaches, create interfaces for model interaction, and oversee deployment and maintenance of AI components.

The role requires strong C++/.NET skills, AI/ML model handling, and familiarity with modern AI tech including LLMs. Collaboration with software and AI engineers is essential, with opportunities for ongoing

Qualifications

• Strong experience with .NET (C#) and C++ development.
• Familiarity with AI/ML model handling, open-source solutions.
• Experience with conception, training, optimization and fine‑tuning of ML algorithms.
• Experience with state‑of‑the‑art AI technology, e.g. large language models.
• Experience with sandboxing solutions.
• Ability to optimize models for CPU/GPU performance on Windows.
• Experience with packaging and deploying software in offline setups.
• Good understanding of performance tuning and resource management.
• Familiarity with basic MLOps concepts for versioning and testing.

• Experience with conception, training, optimization and fine‑tuning of machine learning algorithms, e.g. neural networks.
• Experience with state‑of‑the‑art technology in generative AI, e.g. large language models.
• Experience with state‑of‑the‑art sandboxing solutions.
• Ability to optimize models for CPU/GPU performance on Windows.
• Experience with packaging and deploying software in offline setups.
• Good understanding of performance tuning and resource management.
