Job Description
The Sr. Pricing Analyst prepares various types of proposals for development, production, and competitive contracts and works on large/complex proposals. They have a strong understanding of estimating and pricing principles and demonstrate application through hands‑on experience. In this role, the Sr. Pricing Analyst leads and supports reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management.
Position Responsibilities
- Review Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications and adherence to company policy.
- Provide regular and ad‑hoc pricing analysis and present cost estimates to management, customer representatives, and government audit agencies.
- Prepare and validate cost estimates for sustainment, engineering, and manufacturing labor, materials, subcontracts, vendor data, parts, and equipment.
- Identify cost and price risks and apply to estimates where applicable.
- Support DCAA audits and assist with contract negotiations as necessary, liaising between operations and other support organizations for estimating instructions and pricing.
- Perform analysis of cost estimates, identifying inconsistencies and issues, and develop different cost estimation projects and procedures for final approval by management.
- Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in‑depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum 8–12 years of related experience in estimating and/or finance.
- Experience with and knowledge of MS Office Suite (intermediate Excel skills required).
- Strong project management skills, including organizing, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet proposal milestones.
- Working‑group oriented and possess the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret complex data, and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems; analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; strong computer skills.

Physical Demands
- Ability to work in an office environment (constant).
- Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (constant).
Clearance Level: No Clearance
The salary range for this role is: $111,000 – $169,250
