Job description

Sr. Power Systems Engineer

Location: Quincy, MA. Work model: hybrid. This position contributes to the Electrification Services division in North America.

This Position Reports To: Technical Consulting Manager II.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes based on project one lines and specifications for data collection, short circuit, equipment evaluation, coordination, arc flash, load flow, harmonic, and power quality analysis.
• Work to reduce costs and improve the quality of service delivery and projects.
• Take a lead role in proposing recommendations of services and/or products to meet customer needs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team on offer preparation.
• Develop and maintain relationships and actively exchange technical knowledge with key technical contacts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, major in electrical or computer engineering.
• Proficient in Easy Power, SKM Power tools, ETAP, Aspen, and EMTP.
• PE, FE/EIT certification preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically approximately 25% of the time.
• Must have work authorization to work in the U.S.
