CrowdStrike is hiring a Sr. Platform Engineer to drive scalable, open-source cloud-native Kubernetes platforms for the Falcon platform. You will design and implement multi-cloud solutions, improve reliability, and integrate OSS tools such as Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, and Grafana at massive scale.

You will mentor engineers, operate in high‑scale Linux environments and cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, OCI) while supporting on-call rotations and working in a remote-friendly team.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale Kubernetes deployments and thousands of nodes.
• Experience integrating open-source tools (Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, Grafana) in production.
• Ability to design scalable, multi-cloud Kubernetes platform solutions.
• Experience in high‑availability Linux environments and on‑call rotation.
• Eligibility for CJIS clearance (U.S. citizenship or Green Card).

About the Role:

CrowdStrike is hiring for a Sr. Platform Engineer to help with continued global expansion of the Falcon platform. We are looking for a highly technical, hands‑on Engineer with experience using several open source projects commonly found in large scale deployments. The right candidate will have in depth experience with Kubernetes, its many add-ons, Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, and Grafana. Additionally, the candidate will have experience and opinions on how to ensure reliability of platforms that are operating at massive scale.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement scalable hybrid multi‑cloud Kubernetes platform solutions using your deep expertise in cloud‑native infrastructure architecture and operations at scale
• Optimize and maintain high reliability of large‑scale infrastructure platform systems
• Evaluate and integrate open‑source technologies into existing systems workflows
• Provide insights and technical direction for the continued evolution of Kubernetes infrastructure services
• Mentor and help develop less‑senior engineers to drive collaborative technical decision‑making for infrastructure choices

What You’ll Need:

• Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (requires U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status)
• 5+ years of Kubernetes experience including management of clusters with thousands of nodes
• Prometheus Thanos Alertmanager Golang
• Experience with large scale, business‑critical Linux environments
• Experience operating in clouds: AWS, GCP, OCI
• Experience operating in custom data centers
• Familiarity and ability to manage on call shifts
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision‑making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
