Job summary

Talanto is hiring a Sr. Platform Engineer to advance the Falcon platform’s global expansion. We seek a highly technical, hands-on engineer with deep Kubernetes expertise, Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager and Grafana to keep services reliable at massive scale.

You will design scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes solutions, optimize large-scale infrastructure, mentor engineers, and help drive architectural decisions. Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (US citizenship or Green Card).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Kubernetes experience including management of clusters with thousands of nodes.
• Experience with large scale Linux environments.
• Experience operating in clouds: AWS, GCP, OCI.
• Experience operating in custom data centers.
• Familiarity and ability to manage on call shifts.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes.

About the Role:

(placeholder) is hiring for a Sr. Platform Engineer to help with continued global expansion of the Falcon platform. We are looking for a highly technical, hands‑on Engineer with experience using several open source projects commonly found in large scale deployments. The right candidate will have in depth experience with Kubernetes, its many add-ons, Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, and Grafana. Additionally, the candidate will have experience and opinions on how to ensure reliability of platforms that are operating at massive scale.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement scalable hybrid multi‑cloud Kubernetes platform solutions using your deep expertise in cloud‑native infrastructure architecture and operations at scale
• Optimize and maintain high reliability of large‑scale infrastructure platform systems
• Evaluate and integrate open‑source technologies into existing systems workflows
• Provide insights and technical direction for the continued evolution of Kubernetes infrastructure services
• Mentor and help develop less‑senior engineers to drive collaborative technical decision‑making for infrastructure choices

What You’ll Need:

• Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (requires U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status)
• 5+ years of Kubernetes experience including management of clusters with thousands of nodes
• Experience with large scale, business‑critical Linux environments
• Experience operating in clouds: AWS, GCP, OCI
• Experience operating in custom data centers
• Familiarity and ability to manage on call shifts
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision‑making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
