Job summary

SitusAMC seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and deliver scalable AWS environments, IaC, and automated pipelines. You will work across teams to implement secure, resilient cloud solutions using Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitOps tools.

In this role, you’ll optimize CI/CD workflows, automate patching, and help drive our cloud strategy while partnering with developers, security, and operations to meet regulatory and business needs.

SitusAMC is on a Digital Transformation journey to Strategize, implement, and automate end-to-end product delivery using turn-key technologies. This role requires a passion for programming and knowledge in Cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, in general, and AWS-specific cloud components such as EC2, EKS, AWS Lamda functions, API Gateway, and RDS. The Engineer is expected to provide strategy and implement enterprise-scale service mesh and sidecar architectures with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and availability.

Essential Job Functions:

• Build Cloud Infrastructure: Build scalable, efficient, and cost-effective AWS environments using Terraform and modern IaC best practices.

• Shape Strategic Direction: Develop enterprise class solutions in AWS with a security-first mindset — ensuring resilience, availability, and performance.

• Accelerate Delivery: Drive release automation through advanced CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) that support stateless, stateful, and serverless applications.

• Enhance Cloud Operations: Automate patching, upgrades, and ongoing system upkeep of IaC and pipelines to keep infrastructure healthy and compliant.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with external customers and internal architects, developers, and security teams to align infrastructure with business and regulatory needs.

• Champion Automation: Drive automation of Infrastructure in AWS throughout the organization to minimize manual intervention and error

• Drive Innovation: Bring new ideas to the table, suggest improvements, and help evolve our cloud strategy

• Other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.

• Deep IaC Expertise : 8+ years developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar) preferred

• CI/CD Mastery : 6+ years building pipelines with GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD) and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

• Cloud Native Skills : Hands-on with Kubernetes, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and auto-scaling solutions like Karpenter.

• Programming for Automation : Strong scripting/programming background (Python, Shell, or equivalent).

• AWS Proficiency : Expertise with AWS services including EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, and security/firewall rules.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$110,000.00 - $180,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
