Job summary

TechClub Inc in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to design and build scalable platform tools and services, with a strong focus on backend systems. This 100% onsite role requires close collaboration with the Platform team to advance platform capabilities and drive critical system offerings.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience across modern languages, distributed systems, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and data tooling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong command of Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Backend development in Unix/Linux, distributed systems, information retrieval, networking, or systems/security software development.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or CodeDeploy.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience and AWS experience.

• The team builds and operates the platform behind a number of critical system offerings. This developer will work with our Platform team to design and develop tools and platform capabilities Requirements
• 6+ years of software development experience
• Strong command of at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go
• Experience in backend development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed/parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, or systems/security software development
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and container
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or CodeDeploy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams Preferred
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience
