Job summary

Hanon Systems, a global automotive thermal and energy management leader, seeks a Plant Controller for a large manufacturing site in Statesboro, GA. You will guide financial decisions by establishing and enforcing policies, and oversee internal controls and audits.

The role requires hands-on leadership in budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with FP&A and international accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• MBA and strong accounting background preferred.
• 10+ years of management and manufacturing experience.
• SAP S/4 HANA experience.
• Power BI experience would be an advantage.
• Experience on International Accounting (US GAAP and IFRS).
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Establish internal control structure for new plant/processes.
• Support reporting for business unit to FP&A and international accounting.
• Ensure proper financial reporting and disclosure.
• Coordinate and direct preparation of the budget and forecasts; report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting preparation.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Manage tax filings and government reporting requirements.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies for internal controls.
• Analyze financial expenditures and provide recommendations to management.
• Oversee Internal Control Process with auditors.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations.
• Oversee fixed assets acquisitions, disposals, and tracking.
• Develop Plant Operating Budget and Forecast for full Income Statement.
• Analyze and communicate accurate forecasts.
• Interact with functional teams locally and at staff level.
• Interact with management level at Plant and staff.
• Develop monthly actual reports to communicate results to management.
• Support and participate in EHS objectives.

Hanon Systems, a global supplier of innovative automotive thermal and energy management solutions, is seeking a plant controller for a large manufacturing location in Statesboro, GA. The Controller will guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. The Controller will protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls; monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits; and provide information to external auditors.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish internal control structure for new plant/ processes
• Support all reporting for business unit to FP&A and international accounting
• To ensure proper financial reporting and disclosure
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Analyzing all financial expenditures and making business and financial recommendations to Management
• Overseeing execution of Internal Control Process, including interactions with Internal and external auditors
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal tax regulations
• Ensure compliance with local and International accounting regulations
• Overseeing fixed assets acquisitions, disposals and assets tracking
• Develop Plant Operating Budget and Forecast for full Income Statement

• 10+ years of overall combined Management Positions and Manufacturing Environment

Education
