Job summary

TelevisaUnivision in Florida is seeking a Senior Photographer to capture high-quality photography for entertainment, news, and events. You will plan shoots, set up lighting, scout locations, and collaborate with producers, directors and editors to meet creative goals.

You will shoot talent, executives, and events, edit and retouch images for publication, manage gear, organize archives, and travel to remote shoots as required. Flexibility with evenings, weekends, and holidays per production needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Senior Photographer responsible for capturing high-quality photography for entertainment and special events. This role requires strong technical photography skills, creative vision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced media environment while collaborating with producers, creative teams, and other stakeholders to deliver compelling visual content.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Capture professional-quality photographs for news coverage, entertainment programming, promotional campaigns, corporate events, and special productions.

Plan and execute photo shoots, including selecting appropriate lighting, equipment, locations, and compositions.

Collaborate with producers, directors, editors, and creative teams to understand project requirements and visual objectives.

Photograph talent, executives, celebrities, events, and other subjects as required.

Edit, retouch, color-correct, and prepare images for publication, digital platforms, and promotional use.

Manage photography equipment and ensure all tools are properly maintained and ready for production.

Organize, archive, and maintain digital photo assets in accordance with company standards.

Ensure all photography meets established creative, technical, and brand guidelines.

Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.

Provide guidance and technical support to junior photographers or other team members when needed.

Travel to production locations, events, and remote shoots as required.

YOU HAVE:

Extensive professional photography experience, preferably in television, broadcast media, entertainment, or live-event production.

Advanced knowledge of digital cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and studio and location photography techniques.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or other professional photo-editing software.

Strong understanding of composition, color, exposure, and visual storytelling.

Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing production needs.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by production schedules.
