**About the role**Reworld is seeking a highly skilled **Sr. Payroll Practitioner** to process and maintain payroll for our U.S.-based locations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while providing responsive, customer-focused support to employees and managers. **Work Location**: Florham Park, NJ**Work Schedule**: 3 days in office, 2 days in office**Primary Responsibilities****U.S. Payroll*** Process accurate and timely multi-state payroll for 800+ employees on weekly/biweekly cycles.* Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations, wage and hour requirements, and company policies.* Review and validate timecards, payroll inputs, adjustments, and approvals prior to payroll deadlines.* Review payroll reports and audit payroll results to identify discrepancies, unusual transactions, and potential errors before payroll is finalized.* Research, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll and time/attendance inquiries.* Create and maintain employee rotations, pay policy setups, and accrual tracking, where necessary.* Partner with the Benefits team to ensure accuracy of leave and related pay.* Review and approve new hires, terminations, and staffing changes with appropriate documentation and approvals.* Administer withholding orders, ensuring proper processing and compliance with applicable requirements. Will act as liaison with agencies and bureaus.* Process off-cycle payments, reimbursements, and stop-payment requests as needed.* Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records in accordance with company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley controls.* Support the Payroll Director with internal and external payroll audits by providing required documentation, reports, and research.* Provide customer service support to employees across corporate and facility locations.* Collaborate with Payroll and HR teams on ongoing projects and process improvements.**Qualifications & Requirements*** Payroll certification preferred but not required (FPC or CPP).* Minimum 3-5 years as a Payroll Practitioner with experience in U.S. payroll.* Strong knowledge of payroll and tax regulations/processes.* Experience with administration of wage attachments/garnishments and the requirements of each type.* Exposure to union payrolls or collective bargaining agreements a plus.* Strong analytical and organizational skills to be able to multi-task.* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to support employees at all levels.* Experience with **Workday** or similar HRIS/payroll systems.* Proficiency with **Microsoft Excel and Word**.* Experience with **UKG Dimensions** or similar time and attendance systems preferredAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.Please note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.**Pay Transparency** Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages.
