Community Health Network in Indianapolis is seeking a Sr. Patient Care Tech for the Surgical Inpatient unit. You will assist with bathing, feeding, vital signs, and patient transport under RN supervision.

The role supports a healthcare team during three 12-hour night shifts weekly (6:30 pm–7:00 am) with every third weekend night, offering growth within a patient-focused environment.

Make a Difference

The Senior Patient Care Technician works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Performs direct patient care such as bathing, assisting with elimination, bed making, and vital signs. Transports patients and patient-related materials in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Greets and orients patients to the patient care area. Performs meal service and feeding assistance functions. Provides additional select care to patients. Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed.

• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to use a computer for documentation and work related purposes

Additional requirements

• Must be able to lift
• Must be available for one week of full-time training
• Three (3) months of Clinical Experience or CNA license required OR currently enrolled in Nursing school
