Job summary

FITS LLC is seeking a Parenteral Inspection professional to join our team in the US/PR region. The role focuses on improving inspection processes and technologies, ensuring compliance with drug quality and cost targets, and supporting product transfers.

You will craft test procedures, supervise line trials, and coordinate validation activities with cross‑functional teams. Strong English/Spanish communication and a mechanical/engineering background are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering with five years of exposure in the Pharmaceutical industry (Parenteral Manufacturing / Packaging Operations).
  • Experience in Parenteral Inspection and Packaging processes is required, device assembly experience preferred.
  • Understanding of packaging materials, structures, components, and related conversion processes for sterile products.
  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

  • Improve inspection processes, technologies, and systems to ensure drug quality and cost specifications.
  • Write test procedures, inspection machinery specifications, perform line trials and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate inspection process validation and line trial activities with validation, production, engineering, planning, and quality groups.
  • Support new inspection technology and product transfers.
  • Assess and improve current inspection processes; implement changes to inspection technology processes.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects to meet site goals and objectives.
  • Manage project timetables for new and ongoing projects.
  • Provide project status through plans, presentations, or written reports.
  • Provide troubleshooting for inspection equipment; execute equipment trials and related systems.
  • Provide assistance and technical support to inspection projects for products manufactured at the pharmaceutical site.

  • Plans, coordinates, and executes projects to assure achievement of site’s departmental and company goals and objectives.
  • Managesproject timetables for new and ongoingprojects.
  • Provide project status through the use of project plans, presentations, or written reports.
  • Providetroubleshooting and inspection equipment, executing equipment trials and systems
  • Provides assistance and technical support to inspection projects for products manufactured at the pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
