Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Sr Operations Project Manager in Maryland to join the Program Management team. You will integrate the Annual Operating Plan with inventory forecasts, oversee inventory, sourcing, production, and testing through delivery, and drive new supplier Long-Term Agreements.

You will also manage cost, schedule, and risk for inventory and product builds. The role requires 5+ years in operations, strong leadership and communication skills, ERP and MS Office knowledge, and PMI

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of directly related experience in Operations with project management.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Process improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of ERP databases and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
• Active PMI certification (CAPM, PMP) a plus.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Integrate the TSES Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and annual inventory forecasts to keep the business ahead of supply chain impacts and customer needs.
• Oversee and execute all product inventory, sourcing, production, and testing up to delivery of products to internal customers.
• Interact with Integrated Supply Chain and lead development/execution of new Long-Term Agreements for TSES suppliers.
• Provide critical thinking and problem-solving to expedite product builds and liquidation strategies.
• Oversee and lead material and product end-of-life acquisitions to maintain access to parts throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide profit and loss oversight of all inventory and commercial product build programs.
• Meet or beat program budget and delivery schedule to meet financial obligations.

About This Role

Textron Systems Electronic Systems (TSES) group is looking for a Sr Operations Project Manager to join our growing Program Management team and help us in providing services and support to our hardware and software customers around the globe.

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Integrating the TSES Business Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and annual inventory forecasts to keep business positioned ahead of supply chain impacts and customer needs.
• Overseeing and executing all product inventory, sourcing, production, and testing up to and including delivery of products to other internal customers.
• Interacting with Integrated Supply chain and leading the development/execution of new Long-Term Agreements for TSES suppliers.
• Providing critical thinking and problem-solving skill sets to expedite product builds and product and material liquidation strategies.
• Overseeing and leading material and product end of life acquisitions to ensure all catalog and inventory programs maintain access to critical parts and components throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience in Operations with experience managing projects and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Process improvement and continuous learning mindset.
• Knowledge of ERP databases and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project.
• Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification (CAPM, PMP), a plus.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $95,900 - $145,300 per year.
