The Home Depot in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Operations Business Analyst (HDES). You will drive data-driven improvements across field and support operations, quantifying drivers behind associate activities to streamline maintenance, store, and supply chain processes.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, lead analytic projects, present to executives, and help shape scalable processes. The role offers visibility, growth, and the opportunity to influence large-scale operational outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• 3+ years of work experience.
• LEAN 6 Sigma or other process improvement experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Smartsheet).

Position Purpose:

As a Senior Operations Business Analyst in HDES, you will have a material impact on field and support operations with large scale, visible outcomes. Your goal is to understand and quantify drivers that map to the activities our associates perform to support our stores and supply chain facilities. How do we engineer a process to support the unique and many different maintenance needs of our stores? What processes does this team execute regularly that require streamlining and optimizing? These are the types of questions you’ll be helping to answer through a combination of in-person studies and data analysis. This role will also see you partnering closely with a variety of cross-functional teams and help you gain the exposure needed to build a successful career at the Home Depot .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Project Teams of Analysts and other associates
• Perform data gathering tasks, synthesis - develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

• Typically reports to Store Operations Process Manager or Store Operations Business Manager (or Sr. Managers)
• No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).

Travel Requirements:

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

• 1. Degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering degree

1. Experience with LEAN 6 Sigma or other process improvement methodology
2. Project management experience
3. Experience conducting time studies and developing repeatable processes based in engineering standards
4. Proficient in MS suite of software to include PowerPoint, Excel, Vizio and SmartSheet
