Job summary

DOE Inside Out in Reston, VA on site seeks a Network Engineer to support leadership of mission critical networks in a highly secure environment.

The role requires CCNA, CCNP, Security+ and an active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance, plus hands-on experience with routers, switches and network monitoring tools.

A Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering/Business/Mathematics or 10 years' experience with a high school diploma are acceptable paths into this role.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of network engineering with a BS, or 10 years with a HS diploma.
• Active CCNA certification.
• Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance.
• Active CCNP certification.
• Experience configuring routers and switches in secure networks.
• Experience using network monitoring tools to identify incidents and analyze performance.
• NICE TO HAVE: ITILv4 certification.
• NICE TO HAVE: knowledge of complex data and voice networks.

LCAT REQUIREMENTS

• You have 5 years of network engineering experience with a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or Mathematics or 10 years of experience with a high school diploma
• You have a active CCNA certification.
• You have a active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance
• You have a security + certification
• You have experience implementing and managing routers and switches in a complex secure network.
• You have experience using network monitoring tools to identify incidents as well as analyze performance of the network.
• You have an active CCNP certification
