Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy network hardware platforms, including switches, routers, and optical systems.
• Engage with switch, router, and optical manufacturers to define hardware specifications and ensure compliance with our design requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to define design requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Work with external customers to understand their needs and define design requirements that meet their expectations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external customers, and manufacturers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in network hardware platform engineering.
• Participate in the development of roadmaps and technical plans for network hardware platforms.
• Ensure that all network hardware platforms are designed and developed with scalability, reliability, and security in mind.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on network hardware platform engineering.
• Strong understanding of hardware specifications and design requirements.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with both internal teams and external customers.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
• Experience with switch, router, and optical manufacturers, including engagement with these companies to define hardware specifications.
• Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies in network hardware platform engineering.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on network hardware platform engineering.
• Experience with cloud‑based network architectures and virtualization technologies, software defined networking.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements for network hardware platforms.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $91,400 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
