Description

This role involves developing system enhancements for CONNECTIONS and ancillary applications, creating both web and client‑server applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

Duties
  • Provide development support to the CONNECTIONS project during development and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in requirement and design sessions.
  • Set technical direction for the future of the CONNECTIONS application.
  • Serve as a conduit between technical and non‑technical staff, explaining new software, controls and processes.
  • Lead interface with legacy applications.
  • Lead_core_new designs incorporating WPF and WCF functionality.
  • Establish UI design standards.
  • Guide the technical team in code reviews to ensure coding standards are adhered to.
  • Evaluate and select 3rd‑party software for integration into Connections application.
  • Mentor senior developers in MVVM circular and the pre‑established development framework.
  • Develop appropriate system documentation.
  • Conduct reviews of other developers’ checked‑in WCF, WPF, and .NET code to ensure coding standards are observed.
Mandatory Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in all facets of the software development process.
Requirements
  • 100% onsite.
  • 84 months of experience designing, developing and supporting child welfare applications under SACWIS or CCWIS federal regulations.
  • 72 months experience developing applications using VB.NET and .NET framework 4.0 or above.
  • 72 months experience using WPF.
  • 72 months experience using WCF.
  • 72 months experience using MVC, MVVM, or similar patterns.
  • 84 months experience with ODP.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, writing stored procedures, functions, packages in Oracle 10g or higher.
  • 72 months experience performing regression and integration testing.
  • 60 months experience writing unit tests using Rhino Mocks.
