The Senior Model Risk Governance Manager leads in developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's model risk governance. This position is responsible for adhering to Model Risk Management (MRM) policy and framework by the model owners throughout the bank – emphasizing issue remediation, model performance monitoring, and requisite controls. The Senior Model Risk Governance Manager ensures models are appropriately identified, reviews critical spreadsheets, develops the aggregate model risk profile, and assists in the model risk assessment.

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four‑year college degree, plus five years related experience and/or training, and 12 to 18 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and understand common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents; ability to respond to complex or difficult inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal, logical or scientific symbolism such as formulas, scientific equations, and graphs. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
