Encore Semi, Inc. is seeking a Sr Mixed-Signal IC Designer (Data Converters) to lead the architecture and implementation of high-frequency signal translation blocks. This role focuses on cutting-edge hardware design using modern sub-micron technologies for aerospace applications.

You will drive the end-to-end development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure rigorous verification and parasitic analysis for a flawless manufacturing release. 10–15+ years of experience required.

Qualificações

• Advanced degree in electrical engineering with 10–15+ years of industry experience.
• Proven mastery in high-speed digitization circuits and conversion topologies.
• Fluency with mixed-mode simulation and system-level modeling.

• Create top-down behavioral models to validate system functionality before physical implementation.
• Utilize EDA tool suites for circuit simulation and full-system verification.
• Guide physical design with floorplanning and parasitic analysis for manufacturing release.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interfaces and enable post-silicon evaluation.

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 / year + Comprehensive Benefits

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced silicon design professional to spearhead the creation of high-frequency signal translation blocks and core circuitry. In this role, you will architect cutting-edge hardware that enables next-generation aerospace capabilities, driving system performance utilizing modern sub-micron semiconductor technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the end-to-end architecture, development, and integration of complex continuous-time and discrete-time subsystems.
• Create top-down behavioral models to validate overall system functionality prior to physical implementation.
• Leverage industry-standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) suites for robust circuit simulation and comprehensive full-system verification.
• Guide the physical design phase, including top-level floorplanning and strict parasitic impact analysis, to ensure a flawless manufacturing release.
• Partner with cross-functional technical groups to define interface specifications, facilitate post-silicon evaluation, and guarantee high-yield production.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in a relevant engineering discipline, accompanied by 10 to 15+ years of extensive industry experience.
• Proven mastery in architecting high-speed digitization circuits, with a deep understanding of various conversion topologies and digital calibration techniques.
• Comprehensive fluency with mixed-mode simulation workflows and system-level modeling platforms.
• Thorough knowledge of device physics, physical layout constraints, and geometric scaling limitations in cutting-edge fabrication nodes.
• Extensive laboratory background in hardware troubleshooting, measurement, and post-silicon characterization.
