Job Description
Everforth ECS is seeking a Sr. Mission Integration Strategist to work in our Arlington, VA office.
We are looking for a senior-level leader and thought leader to serve our federal customers at the intersection of critical infrastructure strategy, public-private partnership development, and mission-driven delivery. This individual will operate as both a cross-sector generalist and a hands-on strategic advisor — bringing order to complex, high-ambiguity environments while connecting national-level strategy to real-world implementation across the 16 critical infrastructure sectors.
This role is not sector-specific. It requires a systems-level thinker who understands how infrastructure, policy, and operational realities intersect, while simultaneously possessing the customer engagement, facilitation, and structured delivery skills to translate ambiguous mission needs into clear, actionable strategies and implementable plans.
The ideal candidate thrives in the "gray space" — equally comfortable advising federal executives, shaping cross-sector coordination models, leading strategic discovery efforts, and enabling delivery teams to execute against defined priorities. This role will be the tip of the spear and will have the opportunity to leverage a team of people in support of the customer\'s mission, partnering closely with the Account Growth lead.
Key Responsibilities
Critical Infrastructure Strategy & Integration

  • Serve as a strategic integrator across critical infrastructure sectors, identifying gaps between policy, Sector-Specific Plans (SSPs), and real-world execution
  • Advise federal partners (including CISA as an SRMA) on cross-sector dependencies, systemic risk, and operational challenges faced by infrastructure owners and operators
  • Support the identification and mitigation of gaps between government intent (NIPP, SSPs, directives) and private sector execution realities
  • Assess and provide recommendations on the effectiveness and relevance of existing SSPs — including opportunities to modernize sector coordination models
  • Engage with and understand the role of ISACs/ISAOs, including trust models, information-sharing barriers, and public-private coordination dynamics
  • Support development of implementable strategies, not just frameworks
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
  • Establish trust and credibility with customers in early-stage or undefined ("Greenfield") environments
  • Serve as a primary strategic sounding board and trusted advisor for senior stakeholders, providing informed recommendations and guidance
  • Engage stakeholders at multiple levels to understand mission needs, priorities, and constraints
  • Navigate varying customer perspectives and levels of readiness for change
  • Challenge assumptions and guide customers toward highly effective, forward-leaning solutions
  • Balance subject matter expertise with a collaborative, customer-centered approach to shape narratives
Strategic Discovery & Problem Definition
  • Lead conversations that uncover true customer needs, pain points, and desired outcomes
  • Apply active listening, facilitation, and analytical techniques to clarify ambiguous problems
  • Assess organizational readiness and risk tolerance to inform strategic direction
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and collaborative discussions (virtual and in-person) using multiple communication modalities to drive clarity and alignment
Vision, Strategy & Implementation Development
  • Translate customer insights and infrastructure challenges into structured outputs, including vision statements, strategic priorities, implementation roadmaps, frameworks, diagrams, and models
  • Develop clear, actionable, activity-based artifacts that enable execution by federal and consultant delivery teams
  • Ensure alignment between mission objectives, organizational capabilities, and proposed solutions
  • Translate complex infrastructure and policy challenges into clear, actionable plans for leadership
Drive and Support Strategy Implementation
  • Provide hands-on support for the development and implementation of plans aligned to defined strategies
  • Coach team members on strategic thinking, customer engagement, and artifact development
  • Validate ECS and customer understanding through incremental deliverables and feedback loops
  • Continuously refine strategies collaboratively with customers to ensure alignment and adapt outputs based on evolving needs
Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000
