DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager, Performance, located in Raynham, MA or West Chester, PA or Warsaw, IN or Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Raritan, NJ.

Job Overview

The Sr. Manager, Performance provides strategic leadership for enterprise and workforce performance initiatives that enable DePuy Synthes to drive accountability, capability, and results. This role leads the design, execution, and continuous improvement of performance management frameworks, processes, and insights, partnering closely with HR and business leaders. The position has a broad enterprise impact, helping translate strategy into measurable outcomes while supporting a high-performance culture within a global MedTech organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and evolve talent assessment and performance management strategy and processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise standards.
  • Oversee annual performance cycles, goal-setting frameworks, calibration activities, and performance outcomes.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to embed performance expectations, accountability, and development planning.

Where required to be managed locally
  • Document handling: Print, stamp/seal, mail/ship, distribute, and route documents for wet signatures.
  • Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva.
  • Compliance/admin: Upload/submit filings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree, MBA, or advanced degree preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required
  • Typically 8-10 years of progressive experience in performance management, talent management, HR strategy, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide performance programs.

  • Language: English proficiency required.
  • Travel: Up to 20%, primarily domestic with limited international travel.
  • Certifications: HR, talent management, or organizational development certifications preferred but not required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is

122,000.00 - 245,000.00 USD Annual

Additional Description for Pay Transparency

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
  • Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
