Job summary

Target in Minneapolis is seeking a Sr Merchandise Specialist to support our in-store and online merchandise teams. You will handle vendor onboarding, maintain item data across many SKUs, and coordinate with Import Operations, Transportation and Store Ops to ensure product flow.

You should have a four-year degree or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to multitask with urgency in a fast-paced retail environment.

The pay range per hour is $20.82 - $37.45

As a Sr Merchandise Specialist supporting your categories for in-store and online channels, you'll provide key executional support to both our merchandise buying and planning teams. You will be integral to new vendor setup and to maintaining item and vendor data across many SKUs. You will proactively communicate on behalf of the department in meetings and via email, acting as the liaison for Import Operations, Transportation, Store Ops and vendors. You will also help coordinate samples and solve problems with our supply chain partners to ensure successful product flow through our network.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
