Job summary

FST Technical Services is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead commissioning activities for mission-critical data center projects, ensuring systems are designed, installed, and performing at the highest level. The role requires strong field leadership, deep technical HVACR knowledge, and the ability to drive outcomes in high-performance environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in HVACR, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years commissioning engineering experience.
• 3+ years data center experience.
• Ability to read construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities across full lifecycle of a data center build (L1-L5).
• Execute functional testing, witness testing, and system validation.
• Manage assignments within schedule, budget and quality expectations.
• Mentor junior engineers and support training.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to document findings.
