Job Details

Senior Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of experience in designing and implementing technology-focused architectural/engineering projects, including Data Centers, Critical Infrastructure Buildings, and Communication Facilities. Position based in Midtown Manhattan, with projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited university
• 8-15 years of Mechanical (HVAC) Engineering & Design experience; Plumbing & Fire Protection a plus
• Licensed P.E. in NY or eligible for reciprocity
• Strong understanding of A/E disciplines and project coordination
• Experience with complex project types
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP 3D, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, Prolog, MS Office
• Revit MEP experience a plus
• LEED certification and Green Building experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead project design from concept to construction, oversee, manage, and mentor team members
• Identify value engineering and constructability options
• Perform evaluations and provide solutions for mechanical systems
• Conduct engineering calculations and equipment selection
• Participate in design and construction meetings, prepare documents
• Review RFIs, submittals, and respond to contractors
• Travel to project sites for data collection, surveys, and observations
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations, including LEED certifications
