Job summary

EO Solutions in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and test mechanical systems for cutting-edge electro-optical products. You will collaborate with Electrical, Optical, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams from concept through production.

You will perform structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis using FEA/CFD tools, create 3D models in SolidWorks, draft in AutoCAD, and participate in prototype builds and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience; a Master's with 3+ years is acceptable.
• Ph.D. is a plus.
• Experience with electro-optical systems or military/aerospace R&D is a strong plus.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts.
• Experience with machining, additive manufacturing, or other production methods.
• Strong communication and teamwork; ability to work independently.

Role Description

We’re seeking a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team on-site in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and test mechanical systems for cutting-edge electro-optical products. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Electrical, Optical, Firmware, and Manufacturing—to bring innovative concepts from design through to production.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to also work independently.
• Experience with electro-optical systems or military/aerospace R&D projects is a strong plus.
