Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own liquid cooling product development for data centers, including CDUs and RDHx. You will align roadmaps across mechanical systems and rack hardware to deliver scalable, cost-efficient cooling solutions.

You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to define customer requirements, drive product strategies, and manage programs that impact performance and schedule at AWS scale.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in technical product or program management.
  • 3+ years designing, deploying, or operating direct-to-chip or immersion liquid cooling at rack level.
  • 5+ years developing, validating, and launching hardware products.

Key job responsibilities
  • Direct Liquid Cooling technology product development and validation for data center cooling
  • Product management of categories like Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHx), and Secondary Fluid Networks (SFNs)
  • Aligning product roadmaps for mechanical data center cooling technology to rack hardware and data center template roadmaps
  • Drive product strategic decisions that impact performance, cost, and schedule cross-functionally
  • Develop cross functional relationships that facilitate the gathering of robust and complete product requirements for mechanical solutions
  • Lead the development, deployment, and sustainment of Mechanical Systems for our next generation data center in a highly cross-functional environment, which includes internal customers, hardware, and software development teams.
  • Collaborate with teams inside and outside the organization to deliver complex cross-functional programs with high impact.

Our product manager work passionately to define customer requirements, development compelling product strategies to drive business value, and partner with cross functional teams and external vendors to make their strategies a reality at AWS scale!

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of designing, deploying, or operating direct-to-chip or immersion forms of rack-level liquid cooling
  • 5+ years of experience developing, validating, and launching new hardware products
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Master's degree

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
